We'll venture far enough from the city for a comfortable and scenic sailing experience where the journey offers a chance to witness the auroras in a serene and mystical setting. As the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, sightings cannot be guaranteed. However, our experienced guides are dedicated to maximising your chances by monitoring solar activity, weather conditions and cloud cover. Understanding that weather can change rapidly, we will always give it a go as long as conditions allow.

Keep in mind that capturing the Northern Lights on a moving boat can be tricky, so consider bringing a stabiliser or a tripod for better camera steadiness - or simply relax and enjoy the spectacle in the moment!

While Reykjavík offers the ideal conditions for aurora viewing from September to April, the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and are therefore unpredictable. If there are none seen on your tour, you will be offered a complimentary return ticket, which is valid for two years.
